About Us
The objective of the Assyrian Sports and Cultural Club is to promote Culture, Studies, Social Activities and Entertainment.
Historically and in the future we endeavour to train individuals and teams and organise sporting games for Amateurs and Professionals to participate in National and International Tournaments in the name of the Club.
We maintain traditional friendship with the wider community and Representatives of countries where our Assyrian Nationals reside.
We promote cultural, social and sports activities among the Assyrian and Australian community in Australia. Promoting cultural events include, printing, selling, distributing and acquiring Cultural literature, Sports Journals, Reviews, Magazines, Text Books, Newspapers in the English, Arabic, Turkish, Farsi and Assyrian (Aramaic languages).
We organise Social Dance Parties, Cinema shows, Opera and Dramatic Concerts and Plays, Traditional Festivals, Cultural Lectures and Debates, Tours and Picnics.
